I am a specialist doctor in Otorhinolaryngology, with a specific focus on Otoneurology and the study of balance disorders.
My clinical practice focuses on the assessment of patients with vertigo, dizziness and unsteadiness, particularly when symptoms persist, recur or when their cause has not been clearly established.
For me, a good assessment always begins by listening to and fully understanding what each patient is experiencing. Therefore, I take a detailed medical history and perform a comprehensive otoneurological examination, which I complement with various vestibular function tests.
My goal is not simply to perform tests, but to integrate their results with the symptoms and clinical history in order to reach an accurate diagnosis and propose the most appropriate treatment for each individual.
At the Vestibular Unit of Rincón Salud, I work in coordination with a team of physiotherapists specialised in vestibular rehabilitation, allowing us to offer a multidisciplinary and personalised approach.
My approach to work is based on scientific evidence, active listening and patient follow-up. Because behind vertigo, dizziness or a feeling of unsteadiness there can be very different causes, and I believe that good treatment always starts with a good diagnosis.
