Aesthetic medicine with medical judgement
Hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin and peels, always after a medical assessment and with approved products.
What aesthetic medicine is
Aesthetic medicine applies minimally invasive procedures to improve the appearance and quality of the skin, always on the instruction and under the supervision of a doctor. At our medical centres the approach is clinical: every treatment is decided after a prior assessment, carried out with products approved by the health authorities, and aims for a natural result that respects each person's features and expression.
The work covers facial rejuvenation, harmonising and refining features, correcting imperfections, improving skin quality, preventing ageing and body treatments.
Treatments we offer
- Hyaluronic acid: hydrates, adds volume and corrects wrinkles or hollows; applied to lips, cheekbones, chin, under-eye area and expression lines.
- Botulinum toxin: softens dynamic wrinkles and refreshes the look of the eyes.
- Facial harmonisation: a set of techniques that balance the features without changing the identity of the face.
- Medical peels: improve skin texture, brightness and evenness.
- Facial mesotherapy: provides deep hydration, vitamins and antioxidants to revitalise the skin.
- Body treatments: reducing localised fat, firming and improving cellulite using non-invasive techniques.
What the consultation involves
It all starts with a full medical assessment. The doctor examines the skin and the area to be treated, listens to what result you're after and explains the options available, what each one involves and how long the effects usually last, which vary by procedure and by person. Only then is the treatment planned.
Most procedures are outpatient, with minimal discomfort and a quick recovery that in many cases lets you get back to daily life almost straight away. After each session there's a follow-up to check progress. If the reason for the consultation is a skin lesion or condition needing diagnosis, the assessment is coordinated with Dermatology at the same centre.
When to book an appointment
If you want to treat wrinkles or expression lines, restore volume or brightness, improve skin texture, or address localised fat and sagging skin, the first step is a medical assessment to clarify which treatment makes sense for your case. Book an appointment at the aesthetic medicine clinic in Torre del Mar and get your questions answered before deciding.
