PADI: children's dental check-ups
We take part in the Children's Dental Care Programme (PADI): free check-ups and basic treatment for children aged 6 to 15 with an Andalusian health card.
This is the dental speciality dealing with preventive and therapeutic oral care in children and teenagers
PADI - CHILDREN'S DENTAL CARE PROGRAMME
At our centres we treat children aged between 6 and 15 who live in Andalusia and are entitled to receive basic dental care free of charge through their Individual Health Card
What does our PADI clinic cover?
As well as the first examination carried out by the paediatric dentist, parents receive information about diet and the main dental hygiene habits that help prevent tooth decay and other problems, along with advice on managing habits such as dummy use and thumb sucking.
At our clinics we carry out restorations, fillings, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, extractions and space maintainers where needed, when a badly damaged tooth has to be taken out before it has come out on its own (the natural loss of a baby tooth).
At an early age, it is vitally important to attend the annual dental check-up with your dentist or specialist
Frequently asked questions
Which ages are covered?
The programme covers children in the region within the age range set each year by the Junta. Access is through the health card and by choosing a participating dentist, and cover is renewed annually for as long as the child remains within the age range.
